"He spoke truly, it is a monstrous (un)comfortable chair. In more ways than one."

^^Probably quite the opposite with this chair.

So here is my first blog post and hopefully it will be a cracker!

This Christmas I set myself a (huge) task of beating the present I made for my other half last year. As you can see, last year I did pretty well. I mean, come on, who doesn't enjoy a viking hat and a MASSIVE ginger beard!
I didn't believe I could do it, never mind anybody else so I put on my thinking cap (read: searched google) and found this fantastic tutorial by Isabell Kiko (http://nerd-by-night.blogspot.de/2014/03/iron-throne-bean-bag.html).

Painting is not my strong point and I find it very dull however after many (many many many) hours I had cut and painted all of the sections. See progress photos below:

Then I realised that this was going to be the hardest sewing project I'd even done either, having only made cushion covers and a skirt before. However, after stabbing myself with pins and shouting at my sewing machine it started to come together.

After getting polystyrene balls all over everywhere it all started to come together!

Now I give you (one the the) greatest Christmas presents EVER!

P.s He may love it but next year he is getting something that is easier to make and not so big!
